Lori's cafe is an oasis on Rte 3, super cute and welcoming. The menu has some homemade Maine classics like fried scallops, fried haddock and haddock chowder. I tried the Cajun tacos. Admittedly, the tacos were not what I expected. They were fried fish with Cajun seasoning sprinkled on top in taco shells that looked more like small taco salad bowls with heaping levels of iceberg lettuce and tomatoes. I ate the fish and couldn't have been happier- light and delicious. Onion rings were very good. We grabbed a donut and cinnamon roll for the road. A bit dry - maybe it was day old - but 15 seconds in the microwave and it was yummy. This is a great stop because you can get gas and ice cream right next door. This is a keeper stop when we are in the area.

From the looks outside, it looks like at night might not be much this little country diner in the middle of nowhere in a tiny little spot. Some of the best fish and chips in the New England states super friendly team with great home cooking.

Awesome food and service. Only thing of note - the space is quite small. But they were able to seat us quickly despite being a party of 7.

We stopped for breakfast to go on our way out of town. My children got a cinnamon roll and a side of bacon. The cinnamon rolls were homemade and HUGE!! And the side of bacon was more than they ever get. My husband and I got a croissant egg sandwich on special- delicious!! We saw people getting pancakes the size of the plate itself. Definitely a must stop!

A cute little local diner. Staff was friendly and attentive. I had the steak and cheese with peppers, onions and mushrooms and homemade potato chips. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich also with homemade potato chips. Our food was served promptly and was delicious. My steak and cheese was very tender and the sub style roll was soft and fresh. My wife's grilled chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We both enjoyed our meal. The bill was about $34 with tip. Their lobster rolls looks ridiculously good. When your finished eating go next door for some homemade ice cream.

It's a homey small restaurant that serves comfort food with great service. It's nothing fancy. The menu is simple. I order chicken tender basket which come with hand cut fried and coleslaw. We was hungry while driving to Acadia National park and this seems to be the only restaurant on this road. If you get hungry on the same route, this is a good option.
